A Mulher do Tempo (2021)
"A Mulher do Tempo" (Regina) is a 20 minutes animation documentary directed and written by Icaro Regina.
The movie is about Neusa Regina, a woman heavily influenced by Rio Grande do Sul traditional music, always watchful with the weather she tells her memories and trauma since childhood until now.
I made concept arts, animatic, backgrounds, animations, montage, sound design, sound mixing and color grading.

"A Mulher do Tempo" is narrated by the accordionist and self-taught musician Neusa Regina, from the city of São Francisco de Paula in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, through the telling of her story and the sharing of various records, such as photographs, videos, notebooks and documents.
The short film is a documentary and also an animation, constantly playing with the visual and sound possibilities by fantasizing about the character's stories, becoming a hybrid of biography and fiction. The editing mixes different visuals from different times in her life, through techniques such as digital and traditional 2D animation, embroidery and cutouts, enriching the film with experimentation.
